It is usually a mix of tea, milk, sugar, and tapioca pearls; moreover, bubble tea is non-alcoholic and noncarbonated. Bubble tea first came about by shaking black or green tea with sugar and ice which formed a frosty head of bubbles at the top giving its name. Later on the creation of flavored milk teas was invented, leading to the possibility of a huge variety of flavors we have today.  In addition to just milk tea, you can also make a flavored slush or flavored smoothies. Chewy gummy balls of tapioca pearls, placed at the bottom of the drink, can be sucked up through a wide straw.[/color][/font]
